Nvidia Kills RTX 5070 Ti & 16GB 5060 Ti Production
Nvidia reportedly halts production of the RTX 5070 Ti and 16GB RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards before launch, citing strategic repositioning and market demand
Nvidia quietly pulled the plug on RTX 5070 Ti production, and the 16GB version of the 5060 Ti is getting choked out too. Memory supply issues apparently forced most manufacturers to stop making these cards entirely.
What this means:
- RTX 5070 Ti already jumped ~$100 above MSRP
- Retailers expect prices to keep climbing
- Only the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti is still in normal production
If someone was planning to grab a 5070 Ti or 16GB 5060 Ti, they should probably move fast before stock dries up completely. The 8GB variant is safe for now, but that’s not much consolation if 16GB was the whole point.

Turns out even mid-range GPU launches can get weird when memory suppliers can’t keep up with demand.
